Shirley Temple was a legendary child star who began her career at age 3 and continued acting until her retirement in 1950.  She captivated audiences with her adorable dimples and infectious charm and quickly rose to fame during the Great Depression, becoming one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars.

She starred in a series of successful films in the 1930s, including classics like “Bright Eyes” (1934) and “Heidi” (1937). Her signature song, “On the Good Ship Lollipop,” became an instant hit.  She was the top-grossing star in Hollywood from 1935 to 1938.
