Meet the Artist

I am Ren Kessler, a digital restoration artist.  I restore old, worn-out movie posters to their original vibrance, sharpness, and color

From our world headquarters and state-of-the-art digital studio in California's Sierra Nevada mountains, I work from our little cabin on our half an acre above the tiny Gold-rush era town of Murphy in California’s historic Mother Lode Gold Country region.

After leaving film school I spent several years thinking I would work in the movie industry.  I realized I was not cut out for the "Hollywood" life.  I could not get traction and did not like its cut-throat nature.  So I switched to a life in computer consulting and never looked back.

But my love of old movies raged on.  The more I learned about IT consulting, website building, and Photoshop, the more  I realized I could combine these loves into a second (or third, or fourth, or fifth) career.

Relaxing in my easy chair, looking at my 32" monitor, and making merry with my movie posters, I now offer them to you.  I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
